Every time I watch a movie, I find myself searching two things, the music and where it was filmed. I’ve always been drawn to the sets, going back to when I saw Dirty Dancing (in the theatre) when I was eleven. I thought it would be fun to give you a new movie location, each month, where you feel like you are visiting the set. And giving you links so you can make a trip out of it as well.

I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan, so starting this series with Moonrise Kingdom seems fitting, with a visit to Rhode Island. This is the kind of trip that you want to plan on a lot of hiking, camping and just being outdoors. Enjoy!
