Field Trip

Oxford, Mississippi – Lamar Park.

We headed to Lamar Park to explore part of the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council  sculpture trail. This public art installation is so great. The park is a very calm, open space and a perfect way to have your children get some energy out. My son ran from one to the next, tapping on each sculpture with his foot, to see which one made the best noise. We decided that the blue rabbit makes the best music, but the two moons was his favorite. My favorite was the tall orange one.

Can’t wait to go back and bring a picnic lunch or walk over to Living Foods, just across the street from the park, next time.
